First Race

[ Someone is a little anxious. His chin rests in his hand and some pages can be heard fluttering in the background because, although you can't see it, his foot is tapping at super speed. ]

Hmm. 11 floors, 160 rooms, decent facilities, but it's so much smaller than I was expecting. I mean, I'm sure it's big enough for everyone's needs, but do you know how many times I can visit every room in half a minute? Too many, that's how many.

But hey, I'm sure I'll find a way to entertain myself. This whole inmate deal, when does that happen? Oh, sorry, I'm getting ahead of myself.

[ He smiles winningly. ] I'm Wally West, your newest warden. So, when can we get this party started?

I bet all the big names have movies. I wouldn't mind watching a movie about Wonder Woman...

If the casting's as crappy as this movie? Might not be as much fun as you'd think.

Maybe the die job sucked. Hey, you don't think they'd have trouble finding somebody with red hair for me, do you? Man. Maybe they're better off doing a movie with Barry or Jay.

Nah, you'd be the main character, so they'd try and make it more accurate. I'm just kinda doomed to be "the sidekick", even when I'm being played by a guy in his thirties or whatever.

What I want to know is why there's never a Nightwing movie or something. Everyone here still thinks I'm running around in the short pants.

Why am I so old? I'd been Nightwing for like, years by the time I was that age.

Maybe they thought viewers would be freaked out by Batman kidnapping and training a ten year old. Lord knows the tabloids had a field day with it.

Oh yeah, because Bruce taking in a twenty something year old kid is so much less sketchy.

It does beg a few choice questions. At least there's less of the "oh no, you're too young to fight crime" crap going around.

Seriously? I mean, I know it looks bad, but Bruce is a decent guy, right?

Sorta makes me wonder about those comics. How accurate do you think they are?

I've only seen one, but if they're anything like this movie? Pretty loosely based at best. I mean seriously, since when did I have an older brother?
