[ Wally is bored, like so many others. But he learned his lesson after last time, and instead of whining about how bored he is? He's going to talk your ears off. ]

I always did hate politics. Court is adjourned, right? I hate courts too. No good memories ever come out of court. No matter how it ends, somebody comes out with their life thrown out of whack and most of the others come out feeling attacked at one point or the other. It's just one big pile of suck.

Here's an idea, why don't we have a vote about getting McDonald's in the dining hall? The food is good enough, sure, but I'd give my left kidney for a Big Mac. Make the vote for real change on the barge.

I guess I should be glad I'm not in the Justice League. I hear their 'talks' are awful. Still, I have to admit, nobody in the world throws a better party.

[Ariadne glances over at the door before moving towards it and opening it.]

Name a food. Anything you want that doesn't have to be cooked. Assuming the kitchen has it, of course.

[Ariadne looks surprised, pleasantly so. She pauses to think before suggesting:]

Carrots?

[ He disappears for about thirty seconds, only to reappear with a small glass full of sliced carrots. ]

[Ariadne gapes at him for a couple moments before closing her mouth.]

You should see what I can do when I really put my mind to it.

[ Just to show, he moves very carefully, stopping and starting at just the right speed to make it appear as though another Wally is standing right next to him. He can't keep it up for long, though, and when he stops the carrots are gone. ]

[Ariadne just stares, at first a little confused. When he stops she reaches out for his shoulder, as if she suspects he's not even standing there. Her hand is reaching for her pocket and her totem, but she doesn't grab it. Even if Wally wasn't standing there, it wouldn't be good to do something like reveal her totem. It would risk Eames and Arthur.]

Only a few of them. Superman's got speed, Captain Marvel too. The others... None of us are quite the same.
