I'm curious. How many of you have kids back home? Or had someone to take care of, anything like that. I'm in a bit of a unique situation because when I first came here I wasn't even in a relationship, and now I'm married with kids, but I think it's done a lot towards helping my inmate. I'm not saying we should treat our inmates like they're our kids, but it's something to think about.

Stupid stuff, I guess. Me and this kid warden got in an argument and then his friend showed up.

Kinda knew it was stupid even then. I was mad and looking for a fight. Sure found one too.

Next time you're looking for a fight, you should ask to spar with someone. People do it all the time here. It's an easy place to get restless and mad.

Ah... I don't really know how to spar. You know, like spar spar. Me and this guy were just fighting, not with any technique or anything like that.

There are plenty of people who could teach you, but I guess you should talk to your warden first. Maybe make a case that it'll stop you from getting into fights for no reason?

He's making me go through some boot camp thing. Dunno what it'll involve except me having to get up stupid early. Or maybe he changed his mind about it. I sure hope he did.

It's something to do, at least. Early won't seem so early once you get used to it.
