Hey, uh, something's come up at home that I need to take care of. And as much as I love time travel, you really can't rely on it in an emergency, I've found, so I have to go. Like, right now.
Drake, you can take care of yourself for a day or two, right? Just don't do anything especially stupid, you should be fine.
