I was going to say I could stand to be slowed down for a trip off the barge, but it looks like that wasn't a problem this time. I guess the barge is less predictable than I gave it credit for.

[ So he says, but he looks happy to still have his speed. He glances around behind him at the super cool wonderland that is this place... ]

If anybody sees a manic looking magician calling himself Abracadabra, give me a call, would you? This place looks just a bit before his time, but who knows. In the mean time, I'm gonna have a look around.

[ He's about to turn off the feed, but then something occurs to him. ]

That's right, I almost forgot. I can lend my speed to people, one or two without losing too much as long as you stay in contact. It's been a long time since there's been any place this interesting for me to run around, so if anybody's interested in some sight-seeing on a larger scale, just let me know!

He's more of the 'obsessed with applause and killing people' type of magician. Uses future tech to freak out us 'kids' from the stone age so we think he's incredible. Trust me, you wouldn't like him.

Vegas would hate me. I can also invoke Murphy's Law on people. I call it hexing. At home I could do really powerful stuff. But I have to train before it's safe for me to have that power level again so they have a block on me.

I want to learn! You see, there was this guy named Apocalypse, and he was so powerful that all the mutants had to band together to fight him, including me! It was really scary, but there was another feeling too. One I can't really...like pride, but not selfish. I want to do things that make me feel that.

A secret identity is better, but on the barge there's not much use for it. The important thing is keeping your friends and family safe, and trust me, it's worth leading a double life just for that.

Around here, it does seem like people would just find out. But yeah, out there...especially with all the people who are anti mutant...I'll be real careful when I get back. I guess I should start making a plan now.

It's something to think about. The hero business is harder than it looks, and it doesn't look that easy to begin with. The sooner you start planning, the more prepared you'll be.

Keeping a secret identity is worth it. If there's anyone you care about, any chance that there might be someone you care about in the future, making sure your enemies don't know who you are is worth it.
